what exactly happens when you take a tilt-shift photo of a minature model? does anyone know?
the answer is that the tilt-shift acts like a normal lens at the beginning of the minimal focus distance. the miniature will be in focus or out of focus, depending on your manual choices. of course you can still have partly sharp and partly blurry images, as it always is when you take photos of something in macro range.
