I am Mareen Fischinger, a photographer in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This blog shows some of my personal life. I mobile-post behind the scene photos and ideas, too – in no specific order.

Also, I am selling my car.

My 1DsMIII sensor after two weeks is a sad picture. (Photo above is a corner of that sensor)I think the self-cleaning sensor is the worst thing ever: I remember how during the first studio shoot, the first dots appeared in the photo and I thought “This cannot be happening”. My 5D never had such a big problem. The photo above was taken after only 4000 snaps under careful conditions (indoor with little but fast and seemingly dust-free lens changes). It is that the sensor is not very clean when the camera comes from the factory, or is it especially magnetic to dust at first?
Maybe Canon’s Professional Services have some inside news for me? (I emailed them.)
