I have already whined about this before:
Tomorrow morning I have a cover shoot (with two beautiful models) which is, at the same time, the final photograph I take for this important company’s super-important annual report that I have been working on this whole month.
This Saturday is already the substitute date because it will be an outdoor shoot and I absolutely need direct sun –– but in January, the chance of sunlight is at about 5-10%.
The problem is that I planned it like this in the first place and by providing an awesome(!) light in the layout photo, I made it a must-have and therefore made them demand it for the real photo, of course.
So now my backup plan with the three assistants + MUA I am taking with me is faking sunlight with a strobe from behind them and reflector in the front (won’t work on the buildings dammit). Also, it will be a Saturday in the middle of downtown, and the blocking of a million people is gonna be, err hard, especially since I need about 100ft of noone in the background.
I just needed to write this down somewhere. Wish me luck. Good night.
