i am stuck on this, doing some internet research. maybe there is a smart way that you can tell me.

I usually add subtitles in DVD Studio Pro i.e. in the readout process. The compiled result might work as well for web purposes…

I wouldn’t do it in Final Cut, I would use another app to add them to the finished video. try this sourceforge.net/project…
