is there an effective way of adding subtitles to a sequence in final cut pro 6?

that isn’t drag-drop-adjust falsely scaled images one by one?
i am stuck on this, doing some internet research. maybe there is a smart way that you can tell me.

doing this for you english-speaking folks!
required only for web, no dvd menu stuff necessary.

UPDATE: i found this useful.
