sebastianwaters: The test participant in the top gaze plot fixated a few times within the big empty color block before the content downloaded, then spent the remaining time looking at the rest of the page. This user never looked at the big promotional space after it had rendered. The second user (bottom gaze plot) happened to be looking away from the screen during the 8 seconds when the promotional content downloaded. May I announce: Brianarama is the winner of yesterday’s Pic Pick photo contest! I picked the submission of photography student Briana (Flickr) from Tampa, FL because it is not exactly clear what happened and who is the winner or loser here (hot weather!). Why is it taken at night? The light is great, surprising to the viewer as well as the subject while suggesting refreshing spontaneity as well as a fantastic grandient-like composition. Congratulations!
