That’s the view I run for. It looks like a Van Gogh?
Anyway, the thing on my car was a black scarf at the rearview mirror that someone picked up from the ground. Oh language barriers…

Summer.
I am Mareen Fischinger, a photographer in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This blog shows some of my personal life. I mobile-post behind the scene photos and ideas, too – in no specific order.
While I am at it, I am selling my car!

Not much longer til sunset.
Should I extend my ongoing procrastination to running in the light that’s left of the day (a.k.a. sports)?
Getting ready to go out there. Then I can also check out that supposed “ribbon” on my car.
My 1DsMIII sensor after two weeks is a sad picture. (Photo above is a corner of that sensor)
I think the self-cleaning sensor is the worst thing ever: I remember how during the first studio shoot, the first dots appeared in the photo and I thought “This cannot be happening”. My 5D never had such a big problem.
The photo above was taken after only 4000 snaps under careful conditions (indoor with little but fast and seemingly dust-free lens changes).
It is that the sensor is not very clean when the camera comes from the factory, or is it especially magnetic to dust at first?
Maybe Canon’s Professional Services have some inside news for me? (I emailed them.)
flip anyhing in type. awesome.

Eine Katze verändert die Welt (Die Zeit, 2006)
(the other ones were about 2) Emilia Galotti, 3) an analysis of a Baroque lyric poem compared with another, modern one, or 4) something by Theodor Fontane.)
These are out of a 2007 Diesel campaign, the ads say “Global Warming Ready”. I thought they looked really good and liked the tongue-in-cheek caption.

Went to see Radical Advertising (also online/English), an exhibition at the NRW Forum in Düsseldorf, yesterday. They always do a really good job curating their shows.
(My fav model) Céline Kudera has now got her own tumblelog.
She is a fashion designer (student) in Düsseldorf; plus she is French, cute and confused.
It is still hard to attract non-computer nerds to get a tumblelog here in Germany. Hope she will keep it up.
