»Die Fotografin Mareen Fischinger ist bekannt für ihre kubistischen Fotoexperimente. Eine solche Panografie mit den Wahrzeichen Kölns wird am 6. Oktober erstmals im „4010 Telekom Shop Ehrenstraße“ ausgestellt. Die Wahlkölnerin hat mehrfach in Paris ausgestellt und mit dem International ARC Award wurde ihre Fotografie in New York ausgezeichnet.

Die digitalen Arbeiten, die von der jungen Künstlerin als Panografien bezeichnet werden, sind im klassischen Sinn Panoramaaufnahmen, jedoch um die zeitliche Dimension erweitert: Digital erstellte Weitwinkel-Bilder, die aus vielen verschiedenen, in diversen Winkeln aufgenommenen, individuellen Fotos manuell zusammengesetzt werden. Im Gegensatz zu einem normalen Foto, welches meist nur um eine Millisekunde abbildet, zeigt eine komplette Panografie einen Zeitraum von bis zu 30 Minuten.
So entstehen ihre einzigartigen Werke mit dem kubistischen Effekt von kaleidoskopisch anmutenden Super-Weitwinkel-Panoramen von Plätzen und Gebäuden wie dem Times Square, dem Potsdamer Platz oder dem Centre Pompidou.

Aktuell arbeitet die Künstlerin an einer Panografie von den Wahrzeichen Kölns, die für die Gallery Wall des 4010 erstmals analog umgesetzt wird. Die Köln-Fotografien werden auf transparente Folien gedruckt und dann einzeln an die Gallery Wall angebracht.

Die neue Kreation der Gallery Wall von Mareen Fischinger ist ab dem 6. Oktober im 4010 zu sehen und wird im Rahmen einer Vernissage ab 19 Uhr im „4010 Telekom Shop Ehrenstraße“ vorgestellt. Kunstinteressierte und Presse sind herzlich eingeladen. Die Künstlerin wird persönlich anwesend sein.

Mareen Fischinger arbeitet als freie Fotografin. Die studierte Kommunikationsdesignerin beschäftigt sich seit einem Jahrzehnt mit Fotokunst und Blogs. 2006 entwickelt sie das neue Format der Panografie. Heute werden ihre Werke in vielen europäischen Galerien ausgestellt und verkauft. Mareen Fischinger ist eine etablierte, international vernetzte Künstlerin und Fotografin.«

When I talked to Mitchell Feinberg recently he mentioned that he owned the world’s largest non-scanning color sensor array, something he created so that he could continue to shoot 8×10 film without Polaroid. Normally I avoid anything to do with equipment but this sounded interesting.
