Omfg. When I first saw this in a store window I thought: »Why are they using a carbage collector’s reflective vest on the mannequin? Are they talking about the construction site?« i then realized that D&G was the partner in crime. (Although, it could be a fake logo?)Anyway, omfg.

»:) look, that’s me on a book cover. at least my beard and it’s a book about beards. how awesome is that!? thanks for finding this, amy!«
jesuisperdu: Selectism, Here’s a new book from Allan Peterkin and Nick Burns on the art of shaving, entitled, The Bearded Gentleman: The Style Guide to Shaving Face. »For centuries, men have been growing and styling their facial hair, wheth- er for the sake of vanity, religion, or cultural considerations, but most of us don’t give it a second thought. The Bearded Gentleman is an authoritative yet lighthearted guide that offers detailed information on some fifty specific facial hair styles: where they come from, how to grow them, and how to maintain them.«

Yay, I knew these Hasselblad test photos would be good for something after all!(I didn’t take the top picture, but) I notice the upper head seems a bit too low/small. Or is that just me?Does it look like one person to you? Or is it supposed to?
Nowadays, where I have more knowledge about how a tie knot has to be hiding the upper button, I wish I could go back to photoshop that.

Why Adobe Lightroom?

Some of you recommended LR after reading my last post. So please, tell me more about it.

My standard procedure in PS: Open CR2 with Camera Raw, fiddle around, then make them PSDs to re-open and add layers of contrast etc. Some retouching, then metadata follows and finally, they are converted to JPG.

I don’t yet own Lightroom, so I have never used it or had it on my screen and I don’t even know what it looks like.
Thanks!

Did I mention I have a love-hate relationship with Bridge? Tending to love recently though. It used to be unusably bad and slow.
