because stefan kept making such a mean face, i told him to look a little happier when he was doing that move.
just take twice the fee and you will get half of the assigments, which will have you working half as much for the same money.
for me, it’s one of the best works on the planet.
holy shit, about 30 minutes of mechanical and chemical reactions. fischli/weiss 1987
i did a generic soccer fan shoot for a client today which included people cheering to a (black) tv screen in a bar. since part of the restaurant was being frequented by lunchees, the models had to be relatively quiet and mute-imitated their cheering and screaming. which was pretty funny to watch, especially since i could direct the non-existent game anywhere i wanted.
tristanschmitz remade a font:
yesterday i edited the din neuzeit grotesk. wilhelm pischner designed this typeface in 1920 and appeared with the font foundry d. stempel in 1928. the german standards committee suggested the »light neuzeit-grotesk« font in 1970 for use in official signage, traffic directional systems, etc. the font neuzeit grotesk was once the standard in the print industry, as a timeless typeface with no real distinguishing features. like other typefaces of the 1920s, din neuzeit grotesk reflects the philosophy of the times, »form is function«.
i wasn’t satisfied with the e and s, also the kerning-pairs were bad, but i love the lower case »a«. when editing them last night i decided to give her 2 more font-weights, bold and heavy. the shapes of e and g, j and t were corrected, now i am satisfied.

puma love!
then, as we were on the bridge, all of a sudden a middle-aged woman in the narrow middle lane stopped her champagne-colored car and everything piled up behind her, honking like crazy.
we watched how she seemed to be having something like a panic attack. we watched and waited for about 20-30 seconds and then stefan gave me his stuff and ran over the bridge, asked her if everything was alright. she was already on the phone with the emergency hotline 112 and all wet from her tears. stefan made her scooch over and drove her across the river.
apparently, she is a doctor living on one side of it and her office is on the other side. her fear of heights becomes worse and worse.
the police was waiting on the other side for her and stefan walked back across the bridge.
the guy in the photo is another officer of a military group protecting from a hardcore demonstration going on near the bridge. crazy town today.
