Friend Igor Tudoran (Follow the Light/Shinshi) from Odessa (Ukraine) is a musician and composer who works in film, ambient and event music.

He is looking for paid assignments as of now.
I have experienced very professional, quick and clean work from him as he has produced the soundtrack to my panography video.

You can email him at firstnamelastname@gmail.com

From at work today. Shot at the CK store in Dus.I did not even see the mirror until Matea moved out of the picture.
PS.: I hate those stupid on-camera flash systems. Thanks Mats, thanks Stefan.

Pricing niveau, ethics.

Weeks ago, a production company which produces films and spots for one of our biggest television networks, called me to ask if I were okay with being filmed at a little shoot I do for them. At a very low rate of 100€.

As the date drew closer, they wanted to provide me with more info. It came: Please come over for one day, to an unequipped studio Cologne, shoot five models for one giant luxury dessous brand, do a final commercial shoot with one of them, and give away all rights, including advertisement rights and have them film every little moment of it.
For 100€ including the assistant and all possible equipment.

Excuse me? When I told the production company how we would like to do it at a slightly higher rate or for them to at least pay my assistant properly, the lady said she would check back with her boss — an hour later I got a call, saying they might like to work with me in the future.

What is up with appropriate fees? Who does this? Everything is breaking.

Svpply.com
I’ve been working on project called Svpply led by Ben Pieratt and Eric Jacobsen and we just opened up registration after being invite-only for about a year. We did all of this to answer a question: If you could build a physical store with shelves of goods that change depending on who walked in, then how would its online catalog work?
To simulate a solution, we released a bookmarklet (think ‘Instapaper for products’) so that our friends could keep track of goods they recommend or need. This effectively created a personal store for each person, reflective of their preferences and style.
We opened up the system a little wider over the past few months and began to trace the cowpaths we observed, and subsequently we created a service that allows you to organize your own “Svpply” (pronounced Supply) as well as those with taste you appreciate. As a result, you have a clutter-free shopping experience where only goods bound to be useful or tasteful to you are surfaced.
One behavior I’ve noticed is that I prefer to browse items from a particular store on Svpply rather than the retailer’s own site, if only because the design is consistent and clean. For example, Manufactum.com represented on Svpply.
So, here’s my Svpply. You’re welcome to register for your own. Feedback is encouraged.

Well, yeah! I finally signed up earlier today after an invite from Ben.
What I like about it: Browsing while not shopping, or specifying my likes in a generic place. I do not care about the brand until I really want to get it, so why have it visible until I really need it?
