Arc de Triomf, good old friend!
I hope I will find time to look at and show my St. Petersburg and South Africa images soon.
Not to speak of new panographs, cough cough.

via strle: »This tumblr has been an excellent addition to my dashboard.«
dubliner: »Was in LUMAS London today — spotted Mareen’s work on the wall.
Well done! Looks ace…«
Yay, thanks! It is going around the globe.
If you like, send a photo with a panograph at your LUMAS gallery.
Save the date!
If you would like to see an excerpt of my Panographs in the exhibition »Interieur – Exterieur« at the Parisian LUMAS Gallery from February 18 til March 22, 2011.
I will be present at the vernissage on February 17 at 6pm. You should come, too!
(Déjà-vu: Yes, I had another exhibition in Paris exactly one year before this one.)
I have tried them all and was never satisfied. Ended up using my eyes and a color chart and sample image print.
If anybody would like to show me how it works and with which device, I am open to a new solution.
Hello to all the askers who wanted to know this.
I use a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III — not the newest anymore, but still the most grown-up EOS. It has been by my side since early 2008. I like its sturdiness and of course the picture quality. To me, a camera is a pure work-tool, I do not search back and forth on the internet and therefore do not know a lot about specs of cameras on the market.
My favorite lens is 24-70 mm by Canon. It can make the photo look as if the spectator is part of the scene.
By the way, if you are looking to find which camera fits you (some people asked this as well), there are SnapSort and LensHero. Always remember, it is not the camera that takes photos, it is the photographer.
This was from Stellenbosch’s bushfire which I talked about two weeks ago. The area on fire was as large as a village.
I collected so many impressions with my camera that I am going to make a serious series out of these once I am ready for this (and find the time).
