I just saw my old Doppelgänger, and she recognized...

Whenever a photo client asked for an original file
one of my answers was: “you wouldn’t be able to open that anyway.” and is now the fatality.
No other computer seems to be able to read my raw files.
Now I really wish I had taken the plane to Berlin
So, my notebook is dead because the slightly magnetized tables in the ICE trains are runing drives hard drives placed on them. This is not only a theory but has supposedly been known for two years (not by me, obv.)

Today, at a sophisticated hotel, I stepped into an elevator going from the parking garage up to the ground floor. The only person in the opening elevator is a liftboy. All friendly and open, I say: “Wow, you got to stand here all day?” – thinking: “What an unnecessary job in this modern elevator.”
Then I look at his tie a little closer and it has tiny logos of a car...
