Last night at #gak6, Lumio was presented to about 80 people / tech nerds. Happy to have been there for the direct chats with photographers, business acquaintances and other contacts.
Hello!
I am finishing up a little explanation video for my startup Lumio. To make it nice, the part with the screencast is created with ScreenFlow (which is awesome).
I am wondering if anyone of you has a license on their computer… because I only need to export a file once and the license is way too expensive for this matter. The idea is that I upload my working file and you make a .mov out of it for me, pretty please?
Please contact me here if you can help me. Thanks!
PS.: You will get an extra free month of Lumio (Professional) if this works out! (One month is free already and it is not only great for photographers, but also for designers.)

Back to work!
I went to imm yesterday (it opens today in Cologne) to take photographs of Doshi Levien’s prestige object “Das Haus” for a magazine in New York.
Will post said interior shots and portraits of the designers after the magazine is out.
For work, I use the Canon 5DMII, or 1DsMIII, which are my favorites because they are so much more handy than Phase1 or Hasselblad cameras (which take really nice photos when used for a certain purpose).
I also own a SX-70 Polaroid camera, which I like to use for personal moments and people.
On the run, I do personal snapshots with my iPhone and a Olympus PEN camera, if I remember to take it with me.
Dear Reader,
Thank you for your message.
When I was little, my father and I used to develop his photos together in our little bathroom with the red bulb and no windows. I was also fascinated by his camera in the old days and wanted to capture photographs with the same depth ever since my early teen years.
For more info, here is an interview with me about questions similar to yours: http://blog.mareenfischinger.com/post/435164997/

I have not even watched it myself yet. Other than that, I am currently MIA because our baby boy was born last week and he keeps us insanely happy and busy.
This is one of the films that were made for Olympus.

Hi Bernardo,
“You take good pictures, you must have a nice camera” is the equivalent to “You’re a good chef, you must have a nice stove.”
It simply does not matter the brand or the model. I don’t even know or care what exactly I have, as long as it works well (high enough resolution, sharp photos, lets in enough light and does not break easily). Plus, anything I use totally depends on the task. Check out some behind the scenes photos to find out.
If you want to find something that suits your personal needs, why don’t you check out Snapsort.
Giving out a detailed list would be sort of creepy to me. It would be way too long and varies from time to time. However, the brands I trust in are Canon camera systems (since 2000), occasionally Phase1 or Hasselblad, Bron light system, California Sunbounce light bouncers, SanDisk memory, Western Digital hard drives and Apple for computers.
Either that or I had some watermelon punch, with whole fruits…
Amazing photo works, unknown artist(s).
neonlights.
took pictures with iPhone4 and integrated them into my workflow with lightroom and photoshop.
Mats is doing some “interesting” things.
Shooting for BamS in Cologne this Thursday.
